Pretty impressive that they got a SNES-style zelda game on the game boy rather than an NES style one. I guess that's probably due to the fact of the series having progressed so much by the time this released. The overworld is once again not too big and not too small which makes traversing the world and exploring rather painless (there are some dumb secrets though). Some of the bosses are a bit imbalanced though, with most of them being baby mode easy and a few being kind of randomly tricky. The game also has a quirkiness to it that I really didn't expect from zelda games that definitely made the whole thing more memorable. I kept hearing people say all the good things about this game, so now having played it myself, I can understand why this release is such a fan favorite. My only gripe is really more of the game boy rather than the game itself as two buttons definitely means constant inventory switching and there's a LOT of item-specific roadblocks. Overall, it's definitely a classic on the Game Boy.
