Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is the perfection of what is quite possibly the perfect videogame formula. It adds incredible depth to the already immaculate MGS formula by choosing a jungle setting, allowing for seamless integration of the new Camo, Stamina, and Injury Management systems. These new mechanics are incredibly fleshed out and make Snake Eater stand out from its predecessors. Snake must blend in with the surroundings, forage for food, and tend to his wounds all while remaining undetected and saving the world from nuclear annihilation. Throw in great characters, creative boss fights, and an unforgettable dynamic between Snake and his mentor, and you get quite possibly the best video game ever made.
