It was fun, I don't really know what else to say. I'm not really a "platformer gamer" or even much of a Mario fan but I really enjoyed it. The badge system was cool and it's obvious that this game had a lot more personality poured into it in comparison to the last couple 2D Mario games.

The artstyle is very unique and eyecatching, the character interactions are incredibly fun and silly while still being serious at times, and the story has presented some very unique and interesting ideas. I liked the music too!
This game is amazing already, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the story goes in the future :)

note : says Windows PC , but it seems to work perfectly through Proton on Linux so it should work on Steam Deck

It's a solid remake. I prefer the new voice acting and like some of the new songs. I'm not huge on some of the -reload- versions of older ones, though. Theurgy and Monad Doors are cool so far, but I can already tell that theurgies are pretty easy to exploit. I'm about 32 hours in at the time of writing this. MY MAIN ISSUE : The pc port sucks major ass. I have to put this playthrough on pause because it causes my computer to freeze up when loading a save file. I probably won't play again until I can find a fix or a patch comes out.

Amazing game, excited to play the next ones.

The best switch game I've played. It improved upon a lot of things I didn't like about the previous games, and added some new stuff I liked. It has my favorite cast out of the Blade games and the story was one of my favorites. My game of the year for 2022.

Best gameplay in the series. Worst story and characters in the series. Great soundtrack. Was not disappointed because I knew the story would be abysmal going into it.
