Amazing game, quite excessive, but amazing game nonetheless. Refined gameplay, great graphics, and a fun story mode to end this awesome trilogy. The game suffers a little for excessiveness in every aspect: more gadgets (some useless), strange missions with the Batmobile, a ton of useless collectibles, and Joker being the center of attention can make the experience a little bit exhausting. At the end of the day, it's a great game, a must play indeed.

What are your thoughts on its lack of an ending?

Still one of the best looking games ever released.

@spinnerweb Lack of ending? You mean the subjective approach at the ending and post-credits scene? Well, I think it ended in the only manner a Batman story can end: he disappears but is still the Batman somehow. The character is never going to be something different than that. The problem is the ending of everyone around him. There is no resolution to the villains at all, except for Mr. Freeze—which was truly beautiful—and no other character gets to serve any purpose to close the narrative.
