A historic event took place today. I asked Dani if he wanted to play a game or just hang out on Discord. However, Rebeka was playing Baldur's Gate 3 in my library so I couldn't play Steam games. I shot my shot and asked him about Swat 4 and he said yes. It went BRILLIANTLY!!! I loved it! Dani enjoyed it too. I'm feeling so fucking validated. We stopped before the Nightclub level.

I fucking love this game. I can't even put into words how much. I finished a mission and I'm just fucking blown away. I wish, my friends wouldn't be discouraged by the retro aspect.

Round two, baby! After spending HOURS on a new and improved .zip package and a more in-depth but far simpler tutorial on how to install the game with online capabilities, and bundling it with the SEF 7.1 mod merged into one simple folder.
I've made EAX work, at least I think it works. I'll be honest, I have no clue. It sounds great but is it EAX? I couldn't tell. I'm thinking about bundling Creative ALchemy with the zip, including the de-restrictor.
I started a new campaign with AI. Finished the first three missions and OH MY GOD it's so good! I love it. The AI is actually pretty good too. I love the briefing, the audio, the fact that I can listen to the 911 call, the sniper mechanic, and the way I can just leave suspects dead on the floor without having to cuff them. I'm not knocking RoN for that mechanic, I understand why it's there in that game, but I also enjoy not having it in SWAT 4.

I did a solo run on Fairfax to test if everything works still on the new Windows install. This game and especially this mission is INCREDIBLE!! I'm so bummed out that no-one will play with me. Ready or Not is too expensive... I even made the step-by-step turorial and packaged up my GOG installer with Elite Force.
