when I was a child I discovered sonic because I was a big fan of mario, and when I started playing it it was with the mega collection on PS2, after that I always made a game in my head for a new 2D sonic game. Sonic mania is that game and much more. Everything and when I say Everything i mean EVRYTHING is good in this game, it's a perfect 2 hours. Music, Level Design, Concepts; Gamplay, Art style, everything is a 10 out of 10. Yes, it's part nostalgia, but I think if I hadn't play sonic and this had been my first game I would still love it. thank you christian whitehead

Speaking singleplayer, (because if I were talking about multiplayer such as servers and SMP it would be a 4.5) I feel that it is a game that is only enjoyable for the first few hours of your world, after that I feel that there is not much to aspire to in the world. You can explore but you will find buildings that are the same as each other and have similar loot, it is only worth it to find different biomes, mining is too tedious it was fixed a bit in the cave update but it is not much of a difference, and make houses It's entertaining but knowing that no one is going to see them apart from you kind of takes away the porpuse to doing it. I think I see it the game that way because of how much I've played the game but the truth is that I still enjoy the game but not for long.
