This is most certainly a Shrek game for young children. It's a series of carnival-themed mini-games with touch controls of varying quality (avoid anything where you have to draw a circle with the stylus, because that shit does not work). You have one simple target score for each game, and once you achieve it, you tick off that level and unlock another one, or some other special treat.

For what it is, it's reasonably good. It's pretty fun to go through all the levels and do your little Shrek tasks, you know, it is what it is. But some of the mini-games are poorly controlled and agonising. The dwarf bowling is horrible. The running and jumping games are annoying and unsatisfying. The thing where you have to rotate a wheel to make an Amigara Fault style Gingerbread Man shaped hole just for him is basically impossible because that damn wheel doesn't wanna turn.

But you know, I'm Shrek, I'm at the carnival. I'm having fun.

There's also unlockable concept art, for some reason. Concept art they made for this game. Shrek's Carnival Craze concept art. I'm not sure I've encountered unlockable concept art in a game less suited for it, but it's a remarkable inclusion. Some of it is quite ugly. I love to see it.
