What in the base game was several unique, deep but mechanically disconnected worlds is in Echoes a tight interwoven knot of mystery and horror. Probably my favorite gaming experience

Honestly I spoiled a lot of this game for myself watching a let’s play, and it’s probably my biggest regret as far as gaming goes. I don’t usually enjoy planetary exploration or sci-fi themes, but this game’s dense intriguing hand-crafted world and charming aesthetics really won me over
