last time i tried getting through this i think i hit my pain threshold around this page

i can't wait til i move to the city

video games will never be taken seriously as an art form until people start recognizing kimberly kubus as a visionary

(question arcs)
i have really complicated feelings on this so far. i think it definitely deserves the hype it gets, the characters are amazingly written and the mystery is really gripping but (say the line bart) it was really bogged down by the pacing. looking back on it so far i cant really imagine the story being trimmed that much without it losing a lot of its impact but its such a massive slog in the moment that it makes me really hesitant to recommend it to anyone. still even though ive had huge parts of the answer arcs spoiled already im excited to see what they have in store

(violently sobbing) ouuuu she just like meeeeee

(eric andre interview voice) so i knew this guy back in middle school who used to open fire on little kids in the middle of the street (cut to hannibal biting into a raw onion like an apple)

only a few mins long but still rly sick for what it is, i can already tell this dev has crazy potential if they decide to make smthn more fully formed

do you think buddy armstrong effectively utilized girl power by wiping out the entirety of olathe

"If there's no bright future without him gone, then I'll descend into hell with him by my side.
That fate, too, is my happiness."

no doubt the hardest an rpg maker game has ever gone and will ever go. this deserves to be canonized in the indie game sphere as a landmark work of queer art and i will forever be mourning the loss of such an unparalleled artist. rest in power parun

banger game but i feel obligated to leave this here https://x.com/slashefff/status/1690801247937286144

old review:
dled this a while back because i recognized the dev from their music under /f and only got around to playing it when i found out how stacked the rest of the soundtrack was (shoutout jalen #fuknina #tunaclan)
first impressions: this is insanely well directed for what seems like their first game, the overall visual direction is impeccable and it takes advantage of the vn format in rly inventive ways that add a lot to the offbeat denpa atmosphere
the story is rly compelling so far too, this setup has so much potential and i cant wait to see where it ends up (if the remake ever gets finished i hope)
