The saddest thing in the world is that there was never a sequel. I love this game down to its terrible localization. The combat always meant you couldn't go on autopilot and the characters and story were awesome.

One of the first games I can remember that showed me what video games could be: an interactive cinematic experience.

I was not smart enough for this game.

My foundational game. Hard to review against today's standards but at the time there was nothing quite as epic. I credit it with sparking my love of games.

There was a local restaurant called Shillelagh's that had this game as an arcade cabinet when I was a kid. I didn't even like the food really. I would just want to go to play the game. I didn't even like basketball. Just that good of a game.
