Honestly this game is actually pretty great. It's full of charm and heart, the graphics are great for what was basically a release game, and it definitely tried some really cool things. It's just that, well, its control scheme was far too ambitious for the 3DS, and it really deserves a remake or sequel on the Switch. I know it probably isn't in the cards given how busy Sakurai is and how much I want that man to take a break once he's done working on Ultimate (if he ever is), but a girl can dream, right?
