As someone who has never played a Dragon Quest game, I didn't expect this to hold up as well as it does. The sense of accomplishment when making progress really helps prevent things becoming too repetitive.

Play this without a guide and only ask a friend for help when you've exhausted your options and you should have a pretty good time.

Solid little platformer. It's a bit too easy, but it's a fun romp nonetheless. I'll check out the GBA games eventually.

The FIremen 2 is very boring as a single player game, but it's an okay, short co-op experience. Unfortunately, player 2 is stuck with a significantly worse set of attacks, seemingly to stick with the canon of "Danny has an axe" from the first game.

I wish they'd gone fully in on the absurdity, because the moments where robot dinosaurs assault the firemen almost makes it worth playing.
