Combat is even better than its two predecessors. I think the story could have used more time to develop, but overall I enjoyed the way they handled Harry. Venom is beyond bad-ass in this game. By far the best adaption of him.

can’t wait to see where the third one goes from here

gameplay is still fun but it’s gotten to the point where SDS only cares about Diamond Dynasty. RTTS and Franchise are fun to scratch the baseball game itch for a bit, but then the gaping holes start to show. Wish the offline modes would get the same love and care they used to.

what in the world was that ending I’m shook

I have no idea how Nintendo pulled off everything they did in this game. Incredible feat of game design and probably GOTY.

another love letter to 3d Mario in the best way possible. Definitely gonna go back to it to collect all the moons at some point. Give us a sequel Nintendo!

was expecting to enjoy this more but I haven’t. Almost got through all the amateur levels but didn’t push through. Maybe the sequels will satisfy me more.

Overall it's Pokemon, but you can feel the charm of the games starting to decline after the move to 3d with this remake. It's a serviceable remake, especially compared to Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl, but not a great one. Stopped at 7th gym, but maybe I’ll come back eventually.

Having not played the original, this was an extremely charming way to experience Link's Awakening
