Honestly, it almost feels a little disingenuous to call Duck Life 2 a sequel. It only makes a handful of changes from the first game, but fortunately most of them are for the better. The flight minigame is better now, and climbing has been added, which is like, the best minigame in the ducklife games lol.
Not everything here is an improvement, though, since now you have to upgrade your max training level every so often in the store. I get that this was put in place to remedy being able to overlevel really easy in the first game, but all it really does is punish you for doing well on a minigame close to the cutoff by not giving you all the XP you should be getting.
Still better than the first game, but still not what I'd call good. It's grindy and fairly boring. I don't know that I played much of 3 but I know 4 has a lot more than 3 minigames so I'm hoping this isn't a problem for that much longer.
