De uns anos para cá, tenho me distanciado bastante de JRPGs, apesar de ser um gênero que amo de coração. Eles obviamente não foram o primeiro gênero que joguei em minha vida de gamer. Porém, quando era criança, lembro muito de jogar diversos jogos do gênero no meu PS1, a grande maioria totalmente em japonês. Então, tenho um certo amor pelo gênero. Recentemente, finalizei o Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes através do Game Pass. Acho que, de maneira geral, tudo que me faz lembrar daquela época de ouro de JRPGs do PS1, eu senti jogando esse game. Certamente, de maneira geral, o jogo é tudo o que eu queria. Dito isso, se você quer reviver essa sensação, este jogo certamente é para você. Se você ama JRPGs da era de ouro dos anos 90, este é para você. Se você ama pixel art incrível, uma história épica e um mundo em que você pode se envolver profundamente, dê uma chance a esse game. Certamente é um jogaço e que vale muito a pena ser jogado. A única razão pela qual não dou uma nota 10 são os bugs. Mas, fora isso, é uma das melhores experiências de JRPG da atualidade.

Bizarro como eu só tive bugs nesse jogo. Eu vim esperando algo similar a um Duke Nukem ou algo do tipo e acabei recebendo um dos jogos mais bugados desse ano. Apesar de o estilo de arte ter chamado muito minha atenção e ter achado tudo nela incrível, eu, infelizmente, não posso dizer o mesmo do restante... Jogabilidade ruim, IA dos inimigos lenta e fora os diversos bugs e mal funcionamento do game que contribuem para uma péssima experiência. Tentei de coração jogá-lo e achar pontos positivos em relação a ele, mas percebi que estava me forçando demais para achar alguma diversão e resolvi simplesmente dropar.

Recently I've been replaying a lot of games. Mostly ones I beat a while back and wanted to replay to see if my opinions changed any. When I bought my ps4, it came bundled with the Nathan Drake Collection, Uncharted 4 and The Last of Us. Within my first year as a playstation owner, I platinumed all five of them. The Last of Us of I had already played before, and it is currently my favorite game of all time, so I was really excited to play another well acclaimed series from the developer. And damn did I love it! They're like playable action movies and its awesome. Anyways, point is these were some of the first games I ever got to play on playstation, and I was excited to see if my opinions would change at all. They did not, lol.

Drake's Fortune: I love this game. Its dated sure but I really dont get the hate that this seems to get. I find it incredibly charming. I don't have much to say about this. It's not perfect but its very under appreciated.

Among Thieves: This may be the greatest action adventure game of all time. Everything about this game is just great. Full of charm and amazing setpieces and great characters. A few areas are a little slow to replay but this game is just awesome the whole way through.

Drake's Deception: This game is really good. But god damn does it also fucking suck. Sorry I need to rant this game was a pain in the ass. The combat is terrible, the added melee is incredibly repetitive and bland. The firefights in this game are also really unbalanced. Lots of bullet sponge body armor enemies and getting double teamed by rpgs. It feels really unfair even on Easy difficulty. It also felt quite glitchy, lots of character models bugging out and weird jumps. The story is also really weak. It adds a mind control plot point and the first half really meanders, too many dull puzzles and the adding of a main character who amounts to nothing and just completely disappears from the plot halfway through. Thankfully after this halfway point and when our girl Elena comes back in, the game gets a lot better. I knew id still enjoy the first two games, but I was really hoping with this replay that id get more out of Uncharted 3. Unfortunately while it does have by far the best set pieces in the franchise, it has a much weaker everything else
