i was not expecting it to only cover midgar, and the way its taking the story is completely different and like, theres alternate timeline shenanigans, and im really interested. cloud literally looks so fucking omfg they knew what they were fucking doing. game play isnt like the og but i actually like it a lot and it works best for this kinda game! but i think it would be cool if they made a lil dlc or smth where you could play w the og turn style. i like the exploration of midgar but some parts of the game make me question the relevance? like, some of it is immersive worldbuilding, other parts felt like they were just trying to take up more time in the game. also its pretty short, i got through the main story in like, 20-30 hrs doing all the quests and shit, and i still have some trophies left, but idk, it feels pretty short.
