Characters and story (10/10)

The House in Fata Morgana is genuinely one of the most human and touching stories I have ever encountered. It is equally a tragic tale as it is a beautiful one, it showcases the both the beauty and the ugly when it comes to what it means to truly connect with other people, it’s a beautiful tale on ones identity, it is a beautiful tale on the human condition. The characters within Fata Morgana are all beautifully made, it’s hard to say that all of them don’t motivate to become a better person and make a change in my life, despite it being only fiction the characters do feel like real people past the first 4 doors. It is hard to describe in words that truly does this story the justice it deserves.

Music and Art (10/10)

The music and art of The House in Fata Morgana is every as beautiful as the story is as well, it’s an experience that you can’t really have besides the visual novel genre as the music would be the primary thing you first feel and notice as there aren’t any voice acting to really distract you and in particular parts no art at all. Finna get my first physical copy of an album and it's thanks to Fata Morgana, the music is too beautiful.

Cons

Some cons I could say goes for this game is that the first 4 doors/chapters can be pretty slow paced and can be considered boring for some people though I still enjoyed the first four doors a great deal, even if it does suffer from some slow pacing since it’s a visual novel you are free to select the pace you wanna go at so that slightly alleviates the slow pacing issue in the beginning. The first 4 doors are incredibly important however the quality of writing exponentially increases past that point peaking in the finale.

Tldr: it’s an incredible game with some of the best writing I have ever seen, as with all pieces of media don’t get too overhyped, play through it without any expectations.

Greatest game of all time. Zenith of its medium, genius storytelling. Simple but engaging, incredibly emotional
