One of my favorite game experiences of all time. I cannot say how much this game meant to me, and how fitting it was for me to have found it when I did.
I am currently in the middle of at least 4 of the most painful surgeries you can experience and have been nearly unable to leave my house for over a year. While possibly cliche to some, the story here really moved me in my particular point in life.
The game itself is also fantastic. Think Pokemon meets Final Fantasy XII. The gameplay has enough to it to keep you interested and coming back, but not so much to overwhelm you. The game gives you fun little resources that both give you what you need to know to basically 100% the game but also helps with world building, and there is tons of extra content. I just beat the final boss, did everything up until that point but none of the post game yet, and my file is already at 100 hours.

Great game, part of my childhood and got me into the Kirby series. The music and environment design evoke a huge sense of nostalgia and wonder. Combining abilities encourages experimentation and some offer very creative gameplay. It is pretty short even for a Kirby game but it somewhat makes up for that with each level having a totally unique theme.
