Travis Strikes Again is the best No More Heroes game (only the first game gives it a run for its money) and it took me over a year to understand that. This is a dark, contemplative look into video game development while also being a passionate celebration of the art form. It's probably one of the lesser fun of the series but the character writing, story, themes, music, and aesthetics of the game are so incredibly rich. This isn't some drivel to have fun with then shelf—it's something that's supposed to stick with you even when the controller is out of your hands. It won't work for everyone but it surely worked for me.
