I first played Chrono Trigger in the Final Fantasy Chronicles collection on the PS1 where the loading times made it borderline unplayable.

Luckily the DS version gave me a better experience and I ended up seeing the game, and all of its side content, through to the end.

I think part of me still feels lied to because when I saw ads and reviews in magazines for it as a kid, I always expected it would play like Secret of Mana because of the somewhat similar graphical style.
