If you wanna play a slower version of crash 2 with average graphics instead of one of the best looking PS1 games, then play it... i wont stop you

Crash Bandicoot 2 in the N. Sane Trilogy is a blast from the past with some extra polish! They did a great job keeping the classic feel while making the graphics pop and the controls smoother. Some of the levels are still brutal, and the addition of Coco doesn't really change much, but man, that nostalgia hit hard. If you loved the original, this remake hits the spot and will bring back tons of frustrating, but oh-so-satisfying, memories.

I hope people will agree that this is the best balance of more focused action and variety since the og Crash 1 was beyond clunky while Crash 3 was exaggeratedly minigame filled.

I never grow up with the first two games, but managed to finish the original Crash 2 way many years after on PSP.

I'll probably take this as a second playthrough when I'll want, but from the few levels I tried it's a good remake. Not game changing unlike the Crash 1, but still a modern nice way to enjoy the second game.

I struggle to decide whether or not I like Crash 3 or Crash 2 more as a whole considering the PS1 version. However I think that Crash 2 is the best game specifically in the N. Sane Trilogy.
This game is just seriously incredible.
You could play either the remastered or original, you will still have fun.
Peak gameplay and level design.

The N-Sane remake of Crash 2. Crash returns to action, this time seemingly working alongside series villain Neo Cortex, who ropes his nemesis into collecting magic crystals for him ostensibly to stop an even bigger baddie from taking over the world. The writing leans heavily into Saturday morning cartoon vibes, which works really well! The gameplay is also a vast improvement over the first game, with a greater variety of level designs, even more challenges for masochistic completionists to sink their teeth into, and a much more tightly designed difficulty curve.
