Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life
released on Jul 08, 2004
An expanded game of Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life
Another Wonderful Life's gameplay is very similar to its predecessors, involving growing crops while taking care of the variety of animals inhabiting the farm. The game also includes the ability to court three bachelors and marry one of them by the end of the first chapter of the story. The game progresses through 6 chapters in the game, which shows the player character going from young adulthood to old age.

Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life offers a unique twist on the classic farming sim formula by putting you in the role of a female farmer. You choose a husband from a selection of bachelors, cultivate your farm, and create a family in the familiar Forget-Me-Not Valley. Similar to the original A Wonderful Life, your choices influence your child's personality and future path. While the core gameplay remains enjoyable, the focus on choosing a husband and the limited female perspective might feel restrictive for some players compared to the more open-ended nature of other Harvest Moon titles.
definitely my favorite harvest moon and probably the most fun i can really have in a farming sim. i think the potential partners in either version of awl leave a bit to be desired compared to other titles and the festivals aren't anything spectacular, but its still really enjoyable to me. i think there's part of me that's going to return to the game's new remake more often, but the aesthetics and nostalgia with the original awl titles makes them my favorite by just a bit more
