released on May 06, 2021

Resident Evil Village is a first person survival horror and the sequel to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. The game maintains elements from previous Resident Evil games with players having to scavenge environments for items and manage their resources. However, it adds more action-oriented gameplay, with higher enemy counts and a greater emphasis on combat.

Um excelente game que trás muitos elementos nostálgicos, principalmente para quem curti RE4, com uma gameplay bem superior ao seu jogo anterior e personagens icônicos mas com enredo um pouco mais raso. No Geral vale a pena a experiencia!

Finally a good resident evil game in years! Could be longer tho. Still scary and fun.

I would have liked to see a few things like some more reactions from enemies getting shot and maybe a tank section before the Heisenberg fight just as a power-trip kind of thing, but the overall structure, pacing, and gunplay are great. Haven't really messed around with Mercenaries mode or the Winters' Expansion stuff yet but I can see myself really enjoying it.

It's just good! have yet to play the extra dlc and 3rd person mode but I'm excited to get around to it.
Needed more duke.

Loved the setting and the color palette. Breathed fresh air into this series. Definitely wasn't as scary as the last couple Resident Evil releases. The developers seem to be steering the series into the direction that killed the series earlier. Lots of focus on action, especially at the end. With that being said, it is far from being a bad game, most of it is very enjoyable.

It's just a good game. It feels good to play and it's got a lot of great set pieces. Mommy Dimitrescu has the best level in the entire game though. The ending left a lot to be desired, and Chris's portrayal felt a little out of left field for his character. They could have literally just used someone else to fulfil the role he plays in the game.
