A port of Tales of Phantasia

The Game Boy Advance version of Tales of Fantasia was based on the Playstation versions of the game, including the PlayStation remake's character voices, reduced enemy encounter rate and gameplay tweaks, but uses the original opening and two-dimensional world map.

Para ser mi primer Tale of fue una sorpresa, tiene los pecados de un rpg de su época y sus mazmorras son un coñazo, tiene una historia interesante, buenos personajes y gráficos hermosos.
También muchos momentazos.

I swear i'm too stupid to truly "get" the combat system, and i want to get it, i really do.

The perennial translation favorite. The game that’s on its second remake and isn’t being considered at all for a stateside release. (editor's note: it did actually get that release three years later) Please Namco, we want more Dead to Rights and Airblade! (editor's note: we want more Scarlet Nexus and Dark Pictures Anthology!) Don’t give us this wonderful great wonderful game! And definitely don’t give us any more Klonoa games! Thanks Namco.

Anyways you’re a young boy named Cless Alvein, and you go back in time and stuff. There you save the world, and uhh, walk around and fight in Linear Motion Battles. And is it just me, or are the battles in the GBA version slow as all hell? I’m thinking it’s the emulator, but it’s at full speed. Maybe this port just sucks.

i love this game dearly. it was the first game that wasn't a part of my childhood that really wowed me. characters are delightful, story is delightful, art is absolutely gorgeous, and i love the battle system. nothing bad to say about this lil number

Sadly the inferior version compared to the SNES countepart.

fun combat system that sets it apart from other JRPGs of its time. the story is carried by the nice character interactions and skit system. i had a good time :)
