The Idolmaster: Gravure for You! Vol. 6

released on Mar 29, 2012

Gravure For You! is a sub-series of The Idolmaster series. Instead of producing the idols, the focus of the game is photoshoots. The player takes pictures of the idols posing in various outfits on different backgrounds. Each volume was released bundled with Blu-Ray releases of episodes of The Idolmaster anime series. Each game features songs from previous games, plus a new remix. Each available idol has their own song, with the featured idol getting the new remix. In Vol. 6, the idol focus is on Makoto Kikuchi, and the new remix is "MAKOTO BlackMIX." The locations are Studio Set and Classroom, the outfits are Devil Swimsuit and My Dear Vampire, and the accessories are Heart of Vampire and the optional Vampire Mouthpiece.

More in-depth review of Gravure for You! as a whole

Imagine if this was Namco Arcade Collection Vol. 6 instead of Gravure for You, would be insane...

Another one with the new outfit + beach outfit combo, this time it focuses on goth clothing and vampires, again not much new outside of the BGM collection and the Vol. 7 preview.

As for the anime, episode 15 was great! Back to whacky fun SOL with no plot, seeing them having their own TV show was funny.
Episode 16 was ok, kinda boring but it was here to show that 961Pro isn't here to joke around.
Episode 17 was disappointing, I love Makoto but the whole episode was boring and it was just the producer grooming Makoto into being a man, not entertaining.

Again, for 10$ it does the job as a Gravure game.

Probably on par with 3 as the best one so far, but again that's not really saying much if anything at all. This ones main theme is vampire which gets brownie points from me, plus the venue that you take pictures in has okay lighting so there are some okayish shots you can make (of course within the extremely limited options for shots that the game gives you). Once again there is a beach swimsuit option as the second local, how very original. Haven't seen that like 4 times in the previous volumes by now. Not really much else to say.
