Top Hunter: Roddy & Cathy is a side-scrolling platform video game developed by SNK for its Neo Geo Arcade system, which was released in 1994. It was later released for Neo Geo CD, and much later for the Wii virtual console. The game has been re-reissued later in the SNK Arcade Classics Vol. 1 compilation, which was released on May 1, 2008.

Love the pulpy sci-fi environs, and I think the "stretchy grappler" is a genre we should explore further, but controls are finnicky and the plane-switching mechanic seems poorly-implemented. The generous health bar feels almost like a concession.

This is one of those Neo Geo platformers that would be so much better if it were a 2002 Game Boy Advance game
A good enough 2D platformer that has a nice art style and fun gameplay. Maybe the controls are a bit stiff and it could play smoother, but its one of the best 2D platformers that SNK has ever done.
Solid and charming enough neo geo 2D platformer. The system isn't really known much for its 2D platformers so playing one like this is a bit of a treat. They should bring the characters of this game back for like a KOF or something that would be cool tbh. Not much else to say, it's solid!
