Outlast 2 is a game of big highs and lows.Bouncing between reality and the PTSD of your protagonist is done extraordinarily well. The game really evokes a sense of dread in the school segments which are beautifully tense even when you are far away from the reality of being chased by cultists. The game does suffer a weak ending that is followed up by a comic wrap up. If you want a chase simulator that offers a mostly captivating story, this is for you.
