Looks a lot better than the original to me and the new characters are fun
Also the D-Pad controls are fine, you’re just mean
They aren’t as good but it definitely feels like they adapted the original control scheme as nicely as possible to the new system

I am very nostalgic for this version of Mario 64 so it will always be my preferred way to play it. The controls might be worse and the new content might be just okay, but being able to play a fairly uncompromised version of mario 64 will always be so cool. And the minigames are all peak.
