A staple of the PS2 library and one I'll forever cherish like my firstborn, Burnout 3 improves on everything that was already great about the second and ups the ante like any good threequel should. A killer soundtrack, top notch racing, and the series' signature takedown mechanic, and you've got a gem of a title that still kicks ass nearly 2 decades later.
After replaying it,not full but i played all the different stages and tried every type of car,so i call it a job done, and honestly the initial rating that i gave it was really spot on,its basically as good as arcade racers get you wont find much better than this, every race is fun and it doesnt get that repetitive thanks to the unpredactibility of the traffic and opponents, crash mode is fun even if races are better, and the different types of races are nothing flashy but what you need, normal race, time race, elimination race, road rage, faceoffs and grand prix, apar from eliminiation and road rage the standard, the cars feel really quick and responsive, soundtrack kicks, has charm and just really fun even if it is really simple even for racing games

Very fun game! one of the best arcade racers, it perfects the blend of chaos and high speed action without it being too overwhelming. there’s a good variety of events, car types, and courses, wrapped up with a wonderful wacky presentation and to the tune of a great 2000s poppunk soundtrack (midtown!). the only flaw is that the AI can be frustrating at times, especially in the later races where they feel invincible and a single crash pushes you back 7 seconds from them vs taking them out still has them on your butt
Burnout 3 is the perfect racing game for people who don't like racing games. It's not a sim but moreso a field of chaos with cars in it in which players are constantly rewarded for finding exciting ways to mess with and destroy other cars on the track.
It's a unique and refreshing take on a genre that can be hard for outsiders to enjoy. Also the soundtrack was amazing.
