I'm not really sure why I played this

Boring. Dreadful. Go click cookies instead.

Never before have I played a more incredible game

In a crooked little town
they were lost and never found
blowin leaves
blowin leaves
blowin leaves
off the ground

i guess this ones pretty good, as far as idle games go. i like that you manually earn leaves (this games version of an ever-growing score/currency) by dragging around your mouse and blowing them off of the lawn, that's pretty cute & it's more engaging than just clicking. they slip a little bit of lore into the upgrades to keep things interesting, but i can't say that it was enough to like, hook me. i played this one for a couple of hours and then after i tried to come back to it, i found my interest had sharply declined. worth giving a try for sure and certainly well made, but it's more the kinda idler you play at work to kill a few hours than something you'd get really invested in for two weeks.

Can't say I'm much into idle games since they all typically trap you quickly with in-game purchases to make any actual progress. However, Leaf Blower Revolution deserves a positive mention since is a pretty 'fair' idle game that provides easy pick-up-and-play addictive gameplay without the necessity of paying your way through the game, not in the first 10 to 12 hours at least which should be enough for most players to reach the "end game".

Even though the game is simple it provides a fun concept with addictive progression to the point I was more than happy to support the developer and buy the skins/costumes pack. The game keeps getting regular updates and at the time of this review the developer added more achievements and extended the progression of the game, although I have to say that it appears the late progression past the 'end game' is where players will need to start buying gems to make quick progression. With that being said, for being a free game that provides 10 to 12 hours of entertainment I can't complain and give this game a big thumbs up.

Good idle game until you get to the pyramid. The pyramid is awful doodoo stinky.

It's called Leaf Blower Revolution. And, well, you blow leaves. Not much more to it.

It's definitely a lot more deeper than I thought, but it's still pretty grind and time intensive nonetheless

Probably will never come back to this one. Had a great time playing this with a group of Discord friends until I had a trip to go on. By the time I was back, it was over. Great time though.

the only time this game ever made me feel emotion was when i opened steam and saw "3 years of blowing" at the top of my screen

I was somehow able to invest more than 700 hours in a game where at most you blow leaves. This is one of those cases where people that look to my library weirdly might be onto something. Truth be told, I was more into how delirious the actual plot of this went (and still goes).

I listened to a book while playing this game, and 4 hours passed like a minute. My wrist got sore.
would play again.

Lo jugué unas 10 Horas, alch está chido pero llega un punto en el que me agobió y el progreso se hizo muy lento.

this game is alright in the early to midgame but then slows to a crawl and doesnt hand you many upgrades that improve you by that much so now i just hop on once in a while to collect blc

UPDATE : uninstalled

Leaf Blower Revolution starts out really strong, with fun upgrades and novel game mechanics, but starts to take its toll when the progression comes to all but a complete stop.

I had high hopes with its somewhat Stardew Valley feeling charm, and was having an exceptional time in the early game with all the novel mechanics, and moving my finger around to manipulate the leaves to off-screen. Those initial first play sessions were really exciting, and I felt a true sense of progression, moving from one area to the next, or finally having enough for the next leaf upgrade, etc. I looked forward to logging on, collecting the resources, and maybe spending a few minutes doing some manual resource collecting to see if I could get some major boosts to my gains.

Well, then we hit the science portion of the game. Which is harmless enough, the game is teaching me about the converters and turning one resource into another and etc. But that's where progression for me completely stopped. The pace of this game slows down to a crawl.

Now I'm fine with that in my idle games typically. Usually what happens at that point in other games is you scrap your progress for some currency that helps you reach the point you were at quicker and then you're able to move on just fine. But I restarted the game, spent the "restart" currency annnnd... The game played the same, I got stuck at the same spot. I waited a bit longer... but I restarted again. Got stuck at the same spot. Restarted again... stuck at the same spot. Now, I was shortening the amount of time it takes to get to that spot but because of the way the science, BLC, and "restart" coins work, progression in those areas felt nearly identical to the first time I encountered them.

It would take a significant amount of restarts to obtain the resources in order to be able to continue playing the game, and at that point, I'm not sure I could trust it would give me enough upgrades to work through in order to make that grind a meaningful experience (in terms of idling). I'm already only logging on for 30 seconds at a time maybe once a day anyway at this point, and the magic of it all has kind of faded away...

I'm a fan of numbers going up, and idlers, but there's just a few choices in this game that make the idling not worth my time and mindless meandering, even though it's already making such a small footprint in my daily life. And that's after spending almost 8 hours manually in game.

pretty sure i only played this for like 5 hours because jerma played it

Bullshit. Addictive but repetetive and bullshit

you cant hate this game its really fun but its not really that entertaining after a while

Pretty ok idle game. Difficulty spikes tremendously after a couple of hours. Not much to say except that i will probably pick it up someday again to see it to the end.

it never ends. Also some parts are RIDICULOUSLY grindy and yet i am still playing

An incredible labor of love. Leaf go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
