the problem with this game is this is where the series peaked its such a simple concept that its hard to just continue after this,

it also makes it hard to review, its a arcade physics game that takes a lot of skill to master but even if you suck you can get friends to play the main story with you and also suck, or the tons of fun multiplayer mini games to play.

its probably one of the best party arcade multiplayer games out there

good if you feel like having a meltdown

monkeys rolling in balls again, but this time it's an absolute fucking masterpiece
apart from some of the minigames they didn't really change from the original
except for monkey target and dogfight i love those two
anyways play this game, it's really REALLY awesome

Like if you want Sailor Mars to use Fire Soul on your nuts. Ignore if you couldn't beat the story mode

the most "if it aint broke dont fix it" sequel in history. probably my second most played multiplayer childhood game behind warioware inc

Not as good as the first game in my opinion but still a solid ass game that I’ve had a lot of fun with over the years. I didn’t like the level design in this one as much as in the first game, and actually find this game to be much harder. This game has really awesome party games though and story mode that makes it shine.

why did they keep making games after this and not just release super monkey ball 2 again every few days?

bizarre concept that works really well. fun party game and single player experience alike

Monkey Ball but better, because there are two monkey balls now hehe

You got monkeys in balls, what more could you ask for?

This game will put monkey hair on your monkey balls.

I like it when the monkey roll its very nice

mi amigo el patata es un friki

Worst game I've ever played.

Takes most critical control away and just wants you to drag yourself to the same thoughtfully crafted flukeortunities over and over until it works. Even when you succeed it's like the most headscratching sensation ever, like "wait wtf just happened? how did that work?" I never felt like the game was smart, I felt maybe like I was attentive enough to sniff out the path to fluke relative early on, but I shouldn't have got my hopes up that there'd be any satisfactory control towards our goal.

All the times when I didn't know what was going on and it took me over and over really made me realize all the wasted time I avoided in fluking those stages early on.

What kind of hope is a fluke tho?

Take the control you have and never play this piece of shit.

If I wasn't using this as background activity with the music I was listening to I would have no excuse to have completed this game.

Who would've thought that a game about monkeys running around in hamster balls would've had an absolutely mind shattering drum n bass OST?

i feel like this one had worse multiplayer and better single player than the first.

I REALLY love this game, but I REALLY hate this game

Review in progress:
A great follow-up to the original. The story mode makes the difficulty a lot more manageable. It's a shame that some of the levels are gated behind the brutal arcade mode.

Basically expanded upon everything great about the first game. Even adds a cool story mode

I think the level design here isn't quite as good as in the first game, but this has so much more content that I couldn't possibly score it lower.
