Half of the levels you just get in a tube that shoots you to the end without having to do anything. At least they brought back my guy Gooey.
the main game is fun albeit a bit bland compared to how creative the level concepts and gimmicks were in previous kirby games. final boss goes so hard tho.

Another 2D kirby game except with a less interesting gimmick than the last.
I 100%'d this game because I was so excited for a Kirby game on the switch, and honestly it isn't a bad Kirby game by any standard. It's so dang short though and it is not worth the $60 at all. If this game was released on the 3DS, I think it would have been one of the best handheld Kirby games, but it truly just feels like Kirby game on the Switch. The allies aren't stupid, but they aren't exactly smart and playing co-op is just a far better experience. The very least I can say is that the mechanics are well thought out and are never annoying to use and feel intuitive in modes like Arena where they 100% should feel good to use. It's kind of just a tech demo for what could have been a great Kirby game.

It got a bit of an iffy rep when it came out, but I think this is one of my personal favorite Kirby games. A lot of love and appreciation for the series' lineage in this one.

A game with barely any substance and expects you to get your enjoyment from walking in a straight line and gawking at how cute the characters are. Definitely not for me.
level design in this game is some of the most boring stuff i've gone through in a game. lots of flat planes, lots of linear levels, and too much of the boring. eventually, the updates made it a better game, but I don't fucking know why nintendo needs to slowly patch a game. just give us the full game right there please and maybe i would have given it a better score (though that is a long stretch because the story kinda sucks)

Plays great, great allies gameplay but it doesn’t matter much. The game is too easy.
i hate kirby formula bcz it sucks. if u wanna play good kirby game play dreamland 3, kirby robobo or forgotten land.

This one was an hella all star game! I adore the fact that kirby can throw hearts and make friends with his enemies, even better with old chracters like Magolor, Taranza, Marx etc...
Fun fact: when I finished the ultimate choice in Soul Melter difficulty I was like Thank god it's over since I had to try again agaist Void Soul a lot of times, when I saw Soul Melter extra I was thinking You've got to be KIDDING, after one million times I beated Void final form, I managed to do it somehow! In general this game was really awesome and stunning!
