This was a considerable upgrade from skate 2 game, but still left me a little unamused. Skate 2 was open world game, and skate 3 is a open world game but divided in 3 sections smaller than skate 2 (but combined they are larger). The problem with this is that if I just want to go from one place to another I have to go to the map and teleport myself there. This was such a turn off for me. Storyline-wise I enjoyed more Skate 2. Skate 3 story was just so meh. Not that skate 2 is mindblowing, it's also meh but it was better than skate 3. Idk. Gameplay-wise Skate 3 is much better. That's the positive point in skate 3 I guess.

It took a while for me to sell 1 Million boards (I think it's one million) but I had so much fun doing it. This game is one of my favorite games of all time and the best Skate game in the series. It beats any Tony Hawk game any day.
Really fun to just skate around and chill, didnt get far into the story but finished and had a lot of fun on hall of meat!
Absolute insanity with insane replay value and so much enjoyability that I can't recommend enough. Why this hasn't been ported to PC eludes me.

Kinda like when I tried to play the first one, I just couldn't get a handle on the control scheme. That said, I feel like if I stuck with it, I'd probably really enjoy it because they definitely put a lot of care into this game.

By all rights, this game should not have been as fun as it was. The stories after Skate 1 get increasingly dumb, but who plays a skateboarding game for its believability anyway? The skateboard mechanics are the sole reason to stay, and I think Skate 3 finally perfected them. Yeah, walking around off your board feels clunky, especially going back to the game now, but for its time this was pretty impressive stuff.
