DLC keeps me coming back but for how long, now I want to go to a Japanese arcade to actually play it

I can tell I'm going to like this, I'm a drummer, but I need to get one of those drum peripherals to really get the most out of this. Playing it with buttons is fine, but I want to go all in.

"ARITTAKENO YUME OOOOOO KAKIATSUMEEEEEE"
"BE THE ONE, BE THE ONE, ALRIGHT"
"ZAAAANKOKU NO TENSHI NO TEEKE"
"KIMI NO SENSENSENZE"

Sí, bueno, como que me lo pasé guay.

Easily one of my favorite game franchises.

Knocking off one star simply because I wish the Switch version had some of the Vita game features like practice mode and built-in quests. Would have been great if the Adventure pack (which I love, don’t get me wrong) had been incorporated as DLC rather than released as a separate game, because switching between all three titles is a pain. But that’s pretty minor, and was probably a licensing issue, so oh well. Still….. no practice mode…….. alas…..

But yeah, other than that, it’s pretty much straight unadulterated serotonin.

I actually really enjoyed this game and love the side-scrolling and the drums.
A really cute small rhythm game anyone can play

I hit my cat when playing this with motion controls

fun game

Great experience for one of my first taiko games, no complaints.

I love the Taiko no Tatsujin franchise. This is a great game for beginners and rookies. The base game includes a wide variety of songs.

Been split between this and Taiko web simulators for my primary platform. My HORI drum works on both.

would be so much better if I didn't play with the notoriously awful joy-cons

Bandai is getting predatory with these microtrasactions for song on this series....

WAY too much DLC, and it gets annoying when devs shove in charts that feel actually impossible with Joycons or even the base game's drum.

Played this a few times with a close friend of mine. That drum controller makes it so much fun.

reminds me of my ex gf bros.......................................

I think this is the first rhythm game that I've enjoyed that I didn't mostly enjoy on an aesthetic level, like parappa or elite beat agents. im mediocre at it but idc still fun with how simple it is.

also it has megalovania lol

Its pretty fun, gotta love having bad apple and megalovania in the same game

El tercer mejor juego de ritmo jamás creado

Critical: 7.5/10
Personal: 8/10

Esse jogo é muito divertido, mas o maior problema é o controle de sensibilidade não funcionar muito bem

drunk night with my roomate while everyone else was asleep. Needs more songs though

Very fun game, playing with the controller or drum is enjoyable although I am way more comfortable with the controller. One of if not my favorite rhythm games of all time.

My intro to Taiko no Tatsujin. I love the presentation and the feel of the game. Played almost solely with button controls and they’re great.

To have all the fun in Drum 'n' Fun! you absolutely need the drum.

I only learned recently that this game got delisted ?????? what the heck ???
my first Taiko no Tatsujin entry and what a goodie!! lots of variety in the song catalog (some tracks I discovered years ago are still in my playlists), a lot of good DLC packs in case you want even more, and I love the addition of a coop mode and a selection of minigames to play with friends!
