Story mode is ass but idrc when the sandbox is so good
Brutal survival gameplay + the Tumblr nose on all the characters = hard pass for me.
Not a bad game but seemed too redundant for me.

Genuinely one of the best console survival games out there. Especially in comparison to some of the more horror themed options like The Forest, Stranded Deep, and Green Hell.
I was pretty blown away by how in depth this game goes to offer a challenge with its realistic factors and enemy types.

Bu oyundan gerçekten keyif aldım. Muhtemelen Jack London'ın soğuğun dehşeti ve güzelliği hakkında ilk yazdığı şeyi yakalayan birkaç oyundan biri. Oyun o kadar sürükleyici hale geldi ki, rüzgârdaki ulumanın başka bir orman kurdu olmamasını umarken küçük bir kayalık çöküntüde ateş yakmak gibi sıradan görevleri yapmak için saatler harcayabilirdim. Envanterimi gözden geçiriyor ve avlanmak için yeterli yiyeceğim olmadığını ve sadece birkaç parça cephanem kaldığını fark ettiğimde panikliyordum. Came for the graphics, survival and story....left it because of the gameplay
this is an absolutely incredible game, the atmosphere is unbeatable, the realism of the game mechanics is immaculate, its truly a one of a kind and i dont understand why it doesnt have a higher average.

Boring AF
I did really enjoy the game overall, but it started to get a bit dull towards the end of my run. I got to a point where I had plenty of supplies and was just kinda passing the time trying not to die. I will likely play it again at some point, on a higher difficulty. I think a game like this is only fun for me if it's really challenging.
Gets better with more episodes but not a fan of selling a game piecemeal like this. Amazing atmosphere and aesthetic though.

I've put so many evenings into this game and I need to finally log it just doing challenges and the sandbox mode alone this game has been an absolutely riveting one. I crave the type of setting this provides and there really is no other survival games like it. Having to dear the cold more than monsters, the weather more than anything else is how a survival game shoud work. There is usually a point where you can safely walk from end to end of the map with your big sweaters and native american boots but to get there is not to become invicable, you still have to deal with nature in so many other ways, those sprains on steep inclines will ruin your clothes, wolves will be pests, bears and moose will not give a shit how well padded you are with your maritime double brested coat, it will find a way to fuck you up and leave you almost dead
Je m'essaye à The Long Dark... Heu bah c'est un peu chiantos comme jeu non ? Beaucoup de temps d'attente... On veut faire un feu ? 30 secondes d'attente. On veut dormir ? 20 secondes d'attente. On veut recycler des objets ? 15 secondes d'attente.
J'avais jamais joué à ce genre de jeu, bah je crois que c'est vraiment pas mon truc (surtout dans une période comme en ce moment où je n'ai pas beaucoup de temps, je veux rentabiliser mes sessions de jeu, pas observer une barre de chargement qui symbolise l'avancement de mes actions).
Dommage le jeu est très beau avec son style graphique stylisé, et il y a même une histoire alors que je m'attendais à un truc 100% bac à sable !

I played this when the boiler in our apartment went out during a cold snap of -10 degrees outside. very immersive
takes a while to get how to survive and how to maximize your carry weight. After that, it gets fun. However, there is a lot of walking to do so I suggest you put on a video while walking. Also, the last episode (I think) is to be released in late 2023 so i would buy it a bit later so you can finish the first three chapters and then play the last chapter when it comes out.

En cuanto a supervivencia está bastante bien. Tiene muchas cosas a mejorar pero creo que no es para mí. Es EXTREMADAMENTE lento. En dificultades bajas es lento y aburrido, en dificultades altas es lento y mortal. Tres oportunidades le he dado y no soy capaz de que me guste. Una lástima porque estéticamente me flipa y transmite el frío como ningún otro juego.
