WOAHHHHHHH!!! THE BEST GAME!!!! WOAHHHH HOLY SHIT DUDE!!! YEAHN!!!! YEAH GTOONTOWN WHOOoO!!! FUCK YEAH TOONTOWN YEA!!!! YEA YEA YEA YEA LETS MGO YEAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

My opinion of this is basically the same as the original one that got shutdown. It is incredibly nostalgic and charming and I love the experiences I have made with this game. However, it gets painfully repetitive and grindy. This is coming from the guy who lives for RPGs.

Toontown if you're looking for nostalgia, otherwise play Corporate Clash it is a much more modern game.

i'm so happy that i can still play a game I loved so much. i'm happy they brought parties back

I absolutely love TTR. The only thing keeping me from being a 5/5 for me is how absolutely grindy Toontown is, but I would be sad if they changed it anyways since that is how it's always been.

This game is REALLY grindy but I like it alot, mostly due to nostalgia.

I NLOVE PLAYING TOONTOWN WITH ME BUDS

The best multiplayer game ever made! Play it right now!

it gets kinda boring but it's very cute and there is a lot to do, i've heard it's faithful to toontown online as well

Maybe it's because i'm a gen Z kid, but this game doesn't stick with me that much, it's just blatantly boring gameplay-wise, and the online part isn't really important for me (I'm here to PLAY, not to talk). Even so, I recommend to try it, at least. I really adore it's style and atmosphere, and the community dedication to this game is truly impressive!!

Designs for the cogs are genuinely amazing!
Horribly grindy but reminds me of childhood, i'd probably like replaying this a lot more if I wasn't so afraid of people :(

just revived toontown, a group of old fans and i think former people who worked on toontown online run this. Theyve done a ok job of handling things but, it kinda feels like theyve given up on adding stuff to this game. now if you want a improved version of toontown you need to get a weird different version thats basically this game, but modded.

Its Toontown online but with some improvements though so, if you played regular toontown and want to play it again for whatever ur reason, whether it be nostalgia like me or whatever, prob play this again. just a reminder: toontown was mostly grinding, enjoy

I love interacting with other toons and playing games on the trolley together, but I quickly found out it wasn't all seltzer and slapstick in Toontown. There were cogs that wanted to ruin the fun! Luckily we have gags to combat them because cogs can't take a joke.

I’m never going to invest significant time into this game but it’s fun with friends

Yeaaaaaaaaaaah baby
I’ll probably be coming back to Toontown in bits for the rest of my life, despite how repetitive it gets. (all nostalgia btw)

love that shit will play it till i die

im glad this exists but PLEASE UPDATE

Amazing revival that allowed me to finally complete the main task line while adding in a ton of new content that stays true to the original vision.

Great when you are just screwing around in the playgrounds or playing minigames!
Great when you are finished with your main tasks and can access the Cog headquarters!
Fucking miserable when you are actually trying to finish your main tasks!
I copy-pasted the above sentences from my log of the original Toontown because this version barely does anything to change my stance!

Took down a 500 person server with some friends by playing Chinese checkers

nostalgia or not idc even if this game is grindy the vibes and the community r so good

and no matter what happens in my life i will always come back to you...

Alright, prefacing this with the fact I don't remember much about TTO from my childhood years so this is going in the TTR review. I will say, this is a very nice (although grindy) experience. I like how simple Toontown's gameplay is to get behind and not overcomplicated like Wizard101, the only other kid's MMO I've spent a decent time with- and that simpleness can mean your battles either go super well or super horribly depending on who you're playing with. My big issue with this in general is the fact many, many different tasks require outside help from others rather than being able to solo them. ToonHQ is a great website, but I wish this was more like W101 where you can kinda just queue ingame easily- and you're really going to need the help too. I got to The Brrrgh, which I'd call this game's "filtering point" (even if there was one earlier regarding getting a whole cream pie) and it feels nearly impossible to go through without the extra help from others. I just wish this game didn't assign some RIDICULOUS tasks sometimes as it'd be much more solo-friendly. I do think the community is neat though even if I've had some times people were rude to me for little justifiable reason. Just glad this game from my childhood is back and has a pretty active presence online.
