A fun rhythm game that gets it's kicks being silly but loses me for not having any tracks that are bangers. Except, maybe, OH CANADA.

Funny little game, played for one hour and made my laugh a lot.

Really close to perfect! Unlocking the true ending is a bit of a grind, but it's definitely worth your time. I have yet to try any custom charts, but I imagine tooting along to through the fire and the flames makes the game better by orders of magnitude.

BWAAAAAP BWAAAAAP BWAP BWAP BWAAAAAP

Funny Trombone Game is actually good.

Trombone Champ feels like that one charity shop PS2 game you got when you were on holiday in Norwich, the humour comes from the absurdity of its mechanics, but it's actually very competently designed.

The humour doesn't just end at "shite sounding rhythm game" either, with a fair amount of progression and some funny writing.

the gameplay is fun! genuinely pretty well designed and the royalty free music selection adds to the charm more than it detriments it. unfortunately i'm just not the biggest fan of LOL XD RANDOM toilet humor.

Seeing a lot of "its a meme game" and really I don't agree; It's full of jokes about poop and hotdogs and monkeys, but it's also just a very fun rhythm game, with a lot of various tracks, and the game is being very frequently updated with new songs and QoL/accessibility features (maybe too much actually, the menus are starting to be a bit overwhelming)

This game is incredibly goofy and I'm not sure I ever got particularly "good" at it, but it's one of those titles where being bad at it is almost more fun than actually playing the right notes. What a fun and quirky rhythm game, even if I found the song selection a little lacking.

fofo & original, um amor esse trombone champ!

Why is this the rhythm game I decide to put my time into

Its inviting premise and simple, goofy charms give way to a playfully perplexing "campaign" for those who stick around once the laughter has died down. Also, it's just an excellent digital toy.

fun little game to play when you're bored

If you liked any rhythm games like Osu! or Clone Hero, then you might like this.

It has modding support too which is it also comes with custom charts.

The game costs in US like 13 dollars but lucky me, I paid 5 dollars for it.

And hey, if you ever wanted to play trombone, the game is yours.

I watched some videos of custom tracks in the game and thought it looked like a fun little rhythm game so I tried it out. Wasn't expecting the lore and side quest content, and was pleasantly surprised. Super fun game and definitely recommend

Trombone Champ is probably best played in a party setting, as to start with especially to people unaware of what they're about to see it can be funny.

However, that kinda dies down very, and I mean very, fast.
It's pretty much standard rhythm type game, though I found it way more lenient and you don't have to have pinpoint accuracy when hitting notes - so long as you end on the correct spot you're all good.

I've finished all tracks so I'm counting that as a complete and 'Maybe probably will never return to'

You haven't lived until you've played the Everytime We Touch custom map.

toot toot toot, babuinos, dói meus dedos, toot toot

Unhinged madness funneled into a ‘rhythm game’. It’s one of those ironic games that actually goes hard even though it probably shouldn’t. Weird from front to back and in here for it. I actually think everyone should play this game.

trombones are a metaphor for communism

"Rising Sun" was destined for this game

Its called fun sweaty look it up

This game is unironically great. Like it isn't just a stupid comedy game, but also a great rhythm game. It is genuinely a fun time trying to toot in rhythm and pitch to the music, even if it can feel impossible at times. Heck it feeling impossible just adds to the comedy of the game, which I must say is quite great. Like they almost certainly could've used a trombone sound that sounded ya know... good, but instead they decided on this awful sound, which just makes the songs sound so incredibly stupid it's incredible. All the weird baboon/hot dog shit is just the cherry on top.

I do have some complaints with the switch version though. First off, it did freeze on my a few times when I earned some the rewards (like the trombone colors). Also I only saw one joke on the loading screen throughout the entire game. Neither is a big deal, but are certainly annoyances. What is kind of a big problem is that the tilt controls constantly drifted to the point where I essentially pointing the switch screen at the ground or 180 degrees away from my face. I often had to pause to recalibrate 2 or 3 times during some of the songs. Outside of calibration the motion controls worked really good actually, but constantly having to recalibrate definitely sucked. Honestly may have given this game a 5/5 if it weren't that one control issue, as I do think this game achieves exactly what it is going for. So probably play the PC version, if that is available for you.
