Despite the inclusion of some competent actors (such as Michael K Williams, RIP) to ground the story in more fleshed out characters, the campaign fails to deliver on the same grounds as it's predecessor. The overuse of lens flare and other effects did not help this game age well either.

This is where Battlefield started focusing only on multiplayer. The campaign was extremely shallow. I really didn't feel any emotional attachment to the characters and the story is pretty lame. It feels like it relies more on cinematic shots and cool effects than story. The multiplayer was good but constantly getting kicked punkmaster was not fun
