Bomberman Generation revitalizes the classic Bomberman formula with a charming 3D world, a story-driven single-player campaign, and the addition of collectible creatures called Charaboms. While not as technically complex as its predecessors, the core gameplay remains addictive - placing bombs, navigating mazes, and blowing up enemies. It boasts a vibrant cel-shaded aesthetic and a catchy soundtrack. Though the single-player experience may feel a bit short, the heart of Bomberman Generation lies in its raucous and enjoyable multiplayer battles, making it a great party game.

When asking me about some of my favorite childhood video games, this one shoots to the forefront of my mind. Bomberman Generation is some of the most thoughtless and intense fun playing a game I had back when I was younger, and this sentiment still holds true to this day. I adore this game and wish I still had it in my collection to look back upon from time to time.

i dont like the 3d-style bomberman games... the multiplayer is good (as always) but the campaign is so tedious

I got this game with my GameCube and SMS. It was pretty good for the "bad" game of the two

i really like the boss thats weak spot is the little toesies it has, NOT the giant please-hit-me detached hands with eyes that are practically begging to be weak spots

It's always nice when Bomberman does something besides y'know, the thing he always does. It's not terrible.

Picked it up for Nostalgia, and at first was disappointed that it didn't hold up, but then as I kept playing it really blew me away. It's colorful, it's a long platformer worth the money, has fantastic puzzles, and honestly blowing shit up with bombs never gets old. I think the soundtrack sucks, and the continue/reset thing is old school and annoying, but honestly hard to find a flaw here other than it ended. I think quick save function like in New Super Mario would have been good, sometimes the levels are so long and i want to go to bed but you have to finish or start over, a quick save that lets me save my spot and immediately quits would have helped alot. The charaboms also don't really matter that much and the battle is so random.

The game's pretty fun but it's also like actually really racist for like no reason like wtf Hudson

This is possibly the most middling game to ever be made. 5/10 of all time.

Historia y modo de juego no habituales en Bomberman, eso los hace ser más especiales. Los combates de charaboms son una originalidad, muy divertidos. Y los propios charaboms son adorables.

It's a damn shame this game isn't as fondly remembered as Bomberman 64 because it's honestly one of the best games in the entire franchise and certainly the best one that uses the single-player adventure formula.

Probably nostalgia bias but i love this game. My favorite single player bomberman adventure for sure. The charaboms as permanent inventory upgrades are infinitely better than how the 64 games handle them, especially all the different remote control combinations you can get. And battle mode has a really strong selection of modes too; Reversi and Coin battles are raw.
