a completely unremarkable shooting gallery game. one of several on the console. gets some points over, like air-sea battle for having paddle controls but it's just another game in the sea of other shooters atari made. next!!

Playing Through My Evercade Collection Part 5: Atari Vol 2
A pretty cheap feeling shooter from Atari and I mean that both in the creation side as its all pretty ugly and messy looking... and the difficulty side, shots from skulls often fly out so fast and cover such a large area hitbox wise, it just makes the whole thing a rather unfun affair.

It's a fast paced shooter where you have to hold the button for long shots, and it has what looks like naked looking 8 bit things shooting at you, while Skulls shoot at you at a very fast pace. The game over is fast paced but usually you think that fast paced games are fun, but this honest to god felt like a really cheap unfair experience, when you die it doesn't feel like a trial and error experience.
It feels like the game knows where you are and decides to do cheap kills by having certain naked enemies hide behind these unkillable skulls that fire lasers faster than you.
It's pretty mediocre and unfair.
