A small set of demakes from the publishing company Devolver, simply and tastefully mocking their own games. Not everything is perfect, of course, but this product of creativity should be considered more as a satire on pixel games for 1 dollars, than just as a full-fledged game.

Небольшой набор демейков от компании издателя Devolver, просто и со вкусом стебут свои же игры. Не все же конечно идеально, но этот продукт творчества надо рассматривать больше как сатиру над пиксельными играми за 15 рублей, чем просто как полноценную игру.

Of course, if you see any of the non-bootleg versions of games from this pack at a comparable price, get those instead. Even though this is a meme game, you'll still get a couple hours of fun playing it.

I'm going to reiterate that. If you see Enter the Gungeon, Ape Out, Hotline Miami, Downwell, or ANY of those games on sale for a comparable price to Devolver Bootleg... It's not even a question, you're gonna have a richer, and more enjoyable time playing "The Real Deal" than what 8 knock-off versions of games can amount to. No question.

It would be nice to be able to write, "Yeah! It's like a bunch of demo versions of the games! You'll know if you want to buy the full versions if you grab this." Nahhhh... You won't know, because some of them are such entirely different concepts that comparing them would feel disingenuous. There are SIMILAR gameplay elements, but for the most part, there is almost no direct connection. There are connections some games have to other older games though!

So why recommend it all? That's pretty simple: I bought it for under $3 bucks, and I got about 3 hours of time out of it. I also had fun playing it and unlocking all of the achievements. Blew some air out my nose in amusement. Sure it wasn't the most flushed-out experience, but sitting there on the couch, SteamDeck in hand, I can certainly say I enjoyed the meme for what it was, and in the end, I enjoyed supporting one of my favorite publishers in the process.

It's just one of those games I'm on the fence about. You're bound to find a better use for your money than this, even within the confines of Devolver's own catalog of games. But dang man. It's just funny to own this.

Uma boa paródia dos jogos da Devolver Digital.

A gameplay... Bem, ao contrário de outros jogos que fiz review no site esse é basicamente uma coletânea de minigames paródias de jogos da Devolver Digital como citado acima, então a review seguirá um padrão diferente e falarei de cada minigame separadamente.

Hotline Milwaukee (Hotline Miami): É basicamente Hotline Miami micro, os controles são meio zoados de cara já que quando tu se move a mira se move junto e não tem como jogar no mouse, mas no geral é uma boa interpretação micro do jogo original e provavelmente meu minigame favorito da coletânea por ter uma campanha completinha apesar de bem curta.

Luftrousers (Luftrausers,): É basicamente Luftrausers (DUH) só que tu só pode se mover para 4 lados e sem manobras, mas ainda bem legal, e ainda tem uma boa variedade de upgrades até para um microgame.

PikuBiku Ball Stars (Pikuniku): Esse aqui é o primeiro da lista que é diferente do jogo original e não é uma reimaginação micro ao contrário dos dois primeiros citados, aqui é basicamente um jogo multiplayer de basquete com a movimentação do Pikuniku, só isso pra falar.

Enter The Gun Dungeon (Enter The Gungeon): Funciona similar ao Hotline Milwaukee na verdade, até no problema da mira do jogo, e também tu morre insta aqui se tu tomar um hit, é meio que Zelda com jogos Shoot'Em Up.

Catsylvania: É basicamente Ghosts and Goblins com um pouco de Castlevania, tem o sistema de vida do Ghosts and Goblins e os subitens e a movimentação travada do Castlevania, só isso pra dizer mesmo.

Shootyboots (Downwell): É Downwell só que numa bota e com movimentação travada por ser numa bota, e claro sem ser roguelike e sim puro arcade.

Ape Out Jr. (Ape Out): É meio como Donkey Kong Jr., onde tu tem que se mover pelo cenário sem tomar um tiro, pode ser bem desafiador de vez em quando.

Super Absolver Mini: Turbo Fighting Championship (Absolver): É simplesmente (literalmente) Absolver com a simplicidade de Street Fighter 1 (Sem as coisas ruins do mesmo), só dá pra jogar multiplayer.

E esses foram todos os minigames do Devolver Bootleg (não irei falar da trilha sonora e dos gráficos por não serem nada demais, apesar do estilo 8bits combinar muito bem com o Devolver Bootleg), no geral, é uma boa paródia dos jogos da Devolver Digital, mas como jogo em si, não tem nada de absolutamente incrível por aqui, mas ainda recomendo se tiver dinheiro de sobra numa promoção.

9/10 como paródia 6/10 como jogo de verdade.
