2D side scrolling dragon ball game, ok what the fuck, why was it so good?

One of the few OG Dragon Ball games... shame it sucks

Very underrated original Dragon Ball game, it's a beat em up platformer with a nice fighting mode included.

GAMING PEAKED HERE SO HARD

Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo is a game I will never play because if I did, I will know full well that humanity could never create anything that comes close to this true cinematic masterpiece

One of the most unique Dragon Ball games, in the sense this is purely an Original Dragon Ball game, not Dragon Ball Z! Having the uniqueness of playing a kid Goku facing against unique enemies in a side scroller. The game is both fun and repetitive, has a fun unique fighting mode and bosses. The game is a bit lazy in terms of not giving a crap to animating certain scenes instead having a still of what's happening or just having a dialogue scene similar to that of RPG dialogue scenes or Visual novels.

While not the best game, it's one of the most unique Dragon Ball Games, and a must own, if you want to experience Goku before Dragon Ball Z, GT, and Super, I recommend this game.

Hundreds of feet beneath layers of stone, soil, and ash lies a small box where thousands of years from now, after mankind has been conquered by their own maelstrom of ruination, the decaying Mother Earth will shed her wrinkled skin and the ungovernable threads of fate will bring whatever remains of humanity to the box, our generation's last dying breath, where we can only pray that what resides in that box is a copy of Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo.

This was okay, nothing remarkable.

A monumental achievement for the human race, will be regarded akin to the pyramids and hanging gardens of babylon.

It's good until you get into the King Piccolo arc, where the side-scrolling beat-'em-up sections get thrown completely out the window and it makes you do 3D arena-style fighting game battles for the rest of the game that unfortunately don't play very well.

Still a lot of fun despite that.

Very good beat-em-up right here
