I thought I might possibly like this game, but MAN it was so much more fun than I expected

One thing I don't like is most puzzles are either embarrassingly easy (even late game) or extremely difficult, and most puzzles don't have much of an inbetween lmao

That being said, this is an amazing game. I know there's some heart wrenching story but that's mostly just in the background and I wasn't listening all that much lol, most just wanted to finish the puzzles as fast as I could so Steam would tell me how long it took me for my first attempt at all the puzzles

The mechanics kept getting more and more interesting and unique and GOD I loved that

This is definitely a game I'd go back to and for sure a game I'd recommend to others

8/10

This mod is perfect if you've played the fork out of Elden Ring and want something to "spice it up" again. The same way the Randomizer mod made me fall in love with Elden Ring again when it first came out, so did this mod

This mod adds many classes, and while I'm only at the end of my second playthrough of this mod so I've only tried two of the classes, they're so much fun. Quite overpowered imo, but fun nonetheless. So far I've done Mystic and the rot class (forgot the name), next I'm probably gonna do the frenzy one

This mod also adds a ton of quality of life stuff. You can open your map/fast travel with enemies aggro on you, more spirit springs, more convenient graces, adds a TON of sacred tears and makes it so you only need one golden seed for every upgrade to the flask (which honestly I don't like this change but it's still technically a "quality of life", it's just a bit too much imo), they changed the weapon upgrade system to be more like the Dark Souls games (which I honestly prefer), and more

Convergence also makes other very nice changes, such as taking Gideon out altogether (one of my all-time least favorite bosses in any Souls game I've played) and replaces him with a really fun boss. Replaces Godskin Duo with a really sick variation of the lions you can fight in base game (while I actually really like the Godskin Duo fight, I also really enjoy this fight and it's a nice change of pace and freshens up the mod, so it's a good change imo)

Also a shoutout to the Godskin Matriarch boss (I think I got that name right), honestly one of my favorite bosses in any Souls game

And the best part is, the Seamless Coop mod works with Convergence. It's SO much more fun with a friend

So really the only things I dislike about this mod are the overabundance of golden seeds and sacred tears, and also how overpowered all the mage classes are. Other than that, it's a fantastic mod, and it's not even finished yet. I can't wait to see what else comes out for the mod

I'm sure there's more I can say about this mod, but this is all I can think of right now. For sure try it out if you haven't already

Kind of wild to think how this is just a fanmade mod for the game, it feels like a proper full game release from Valve themselves

It brings back everything you know and love from Portal/Portal 2, and it adds more on top of that. Sick mechanics like turning off the power, tubes that suck you and/or objects in or blow out, cleansing liquid (I think that's what it was called) that doesn't allow gel to pass through, ability to turn off those blue fields that destroy objects/erase portals, and probably more I'm forgetting

I really liked both original characters the game added, that one woman and her vacuum that was made sentient (forgot both their names lmao). I also don't know the name of the protag you play as, if she has one, but tbh she kinda looks like Daisy Ridley to me. Until I find out her actual name, again, if she has one, I will be calling her Daisy lmao

Really my only gripe with the game is that the ending was kind of underwhelming/anti-climactic imo. I thought the boss fight itself was pretty cool, but story wise it kind of just... happened. And it felt like it ended abruptly/out of nowhere

Probably about a 7.5/10
