Um jogo que segue a fórmula de jogos antigos do SNES, simples, dividido em fases e direto ao ponto em sua história (falando isso como um elogio). Achei muito divertido o tempo que passei jogando :)

Quite solid platformer with surprisingly deep combat and some very nice level design. Lots of skills to unlock via a fairly robust skill tree, which makes fighting with Flynn's multiple weapons a lot more exciting.

Some stages have multiple exits a la 2D Mario or Kirby games, and there's a pretty nice diversity amongst locales. Background art is gorgeous and the soundtrack, while lean, does its job of setting the tone of each location well. Switch version has some audio bugs from time to time but I don't think it's anything too distracting.

All that said I think there's definitely sort of this lack of punctuation throughout the game - while the concepts are all strong and it looks, sounds, and plays great, there weren't really any absolute gamechanger moments that blew me away. Still, I had a lot of fun with it and it didn't overstay its welcome. Definitely would recommend sticking this on your backlog for a nice weekend game or a side game while you work your way through something meatier.

You know that sort of game where after a bit you're just playing for the sake of playing. You don't actually like the game you're playing all that much but you've already plugged enough time into it to the point where you feel like you need to finish?

Yeah. 'Flynn: Son of Crimson' was that game for me. Its not a horrible game by any sense of the imagination but its also one that isn't very memorable either. Combat is button mashy, graphics are cute but rather generic (with the exception of good doggo) and the overall level design is incredibly plain.

I mean... I cant really name anything I particularly liked, any interesting story or character moment or anything I can recommend and I literally just finished the game only ten minutes ago. It really is the videogame equivalent of fast food.

It looks pretty, soundtrack is good in the moment, the combat is fun. Doesn't really excel at much but its enjoyable so its whatever.

The only problem I really had was the game wants you to be in small specific spots to interact with latters, doors, pickup-able items, etc. and its annoys me. I don't very much care for the roll+jump for bigger jump, like the motions are kind of fun, but I felt like the jump button just didn't work sometimes so it fucked me.

Nice platformer. Fluid combat, exceptional pixel art, clever level design, very cool bosses.

I was actually very surprised by how cool this game is, overall a great experience.

Salvo por un par de mecánicas chulas que hay al final es el juego con menos alma que he visto en mi vida, parece que lo ha diseñado una IA

This was fine? It’s a perfectly good video game, I just...feel like I’ve played something just like it a hundred times already. It’s very pretty and the music’s good, I just need a little bit more than that.

An enjoyable action platformer. Combat got old after a while and I started avoiding enemies. May have only been because I chose hard mode and enemies were tankier. I like that it's not a metroidvania. Didn't give a single shit about the story. Was able to get 101% in game and achievements before fighting the final boss so that was cool.
