ok so this review is just for the WeekEnd 1 update that dropped like an hour before i wrote this review
holy shit that was awesome.
first of all WeekEnd 1 (Darnell's Week) is a massive upgrade from what we saw earlier. Better cutscenes, better music, better everything. Basically an improved version of Week 7.
Darnell as a song is pretty good, Lit Up is alright, 2Hot is insanely cool and Blazin' is a cool but welcome surprise.
Onto the rest of the content, the erect remixes. The sound team did a fantastic job with all of these, every song is a massive improvement from the originals. Standouts in particular are High, Senpai, Roses, Thorns, Spookeez and Blammed.
Everything else about the game has been updated as well, making it feel more like a complete and finished experience. (Hopefully) Closer to what the full ass game will be like.

You ever play a game you know will be consistent every time? Something you can just brainlessly turn on when you feel mentally exhausted? Just something that's a game? Like Tetris? That's what this game is to me. Like Tetris. This flash game and it's mods have taken over my life for several years. FUCK.

this game was honestly pretty damn fun! helped me get into rhythm games more than before, the artstyle and music are great too! i am NOT going to review every mod i played cuz i played way too many but just know there are some really high quality ones out there!

blind unapologetic hatred for this game is about as corny as its fanbase, that combined with the admittedly shitty way the kickstarter was handled gaslit most people into thinking this game is worse than hitler when its a perfectly serviceable rhythm game with lots of promise, perfect example of people saying "guys we've GOTTA support indie games!!!!!!" right up until they become the next viral thing
