why is there an overheat gauge in this lawn mowing game

Somehow this game is less fun than actually mowing the lawn. In fact, mowing the lawn is pretty fun. There's a sensual physicality to climbing on the riding mower, revving up the engine, and literally mowing down an army of grass that is threatening to take over your lawn. This game, on the other hand, is an absolute snoozefest. I do not understand why anyone would subject themselves to this "game." If you enjoy this, you need to go touch grass. Actual grass.

I am not sure what I expected, but I think it was something sillier than a game where you actually just mow a lawn in the most accurate way possible. I'm sure someone enjoys this, but I could not make this entertaining while trying my hardest to do so.

This game is currently in the Humble Choice for July 2022, this is part of my coverage of the bundle. If you are interested in the game and it's before August 2nd, 2022, consider picking up the game as part of the current monthly bundle.

It’s better than watching the grass grow.

I’ll start by saying I love Lawn Mowing Simulator, and I’m not saying that as a joke. There’s something zen-like about this game where it’s just mowing lawns. I played a decent amount of the title on Game Pass, and now that I own it on Steam I might do the same. The whole game involves mowing people's lawns and eventually running a company and getting other people to mow lawns.

To me, it’s somewhere in between an incremental and the typical simulator game. Watching the progress bar slowly tick up, trying to perfect each lawn and avoid damaging the grass, or flowers, and watching the lawn slowly get cut by each subsequent pass entertains me. This isn’t going to be ultra-competitive, but if you just want to sit back and relax for twenty to thirty minutes, this will easily satisfy you.

Pick this up if you want something extremely chill and relaxed. It’s not going to be for everyone but it’s a game I fully enjoy. I mean ultimately it’s in the name, it’s a simulator game about mowing lawns, if you expect more than that, I don’t know why.

I know you guys expect me to give something negative about the game, there are no push mowers in the game. Maybe that’s something for Lawn Mowing Simulator 2

Delightfully mundane and relaxing, but there just isn't enough variety to the gardens you mow. You soon end up cutting the same lawns again and again.

Finally a game for the hispanic people like myself.

Safely calling it. I complained in one of my last reviews that Unpacking, a game consisting solely of unpacking boxes and organizing contents, was one of the most tedious experiences I've ever had. But at least that game was short and sweet and told a little story! The same can't be said of this game, which is exactly what it purports to be and reminds me of that old Simpsons gag where Bart wants to play Yard Work Simulator at the carnival after blowing off actual yard work to go to the carnival. I can't even say the hour and change I spent on this (three mowjobs, two too many) made for a soothing experience. The ride-on mower handled like garbage and it was way too easy to miss strips of grass and hit flowerbeds. All my best wishes to people pouring actual chunks of time into this game. You only get the one life, you know?

What a surprise, the graphics are top notch, and it's a good game just to relax with a lot of depth.

Euro Mower Simulator.

Sometimes you just need to relax and let the biggest problem be “I sure hope I don’t run over any flowers.” This game is like a virtual zen garden that isn’t for everyone, but struck a chord with me. You’re not doing much more than picking up trash and mowing lawns, but after a stressful day, just mowing a virtual lawn was better than therapy.

Touching grass has never been duller.

It's really not even a little interesting

cracks open a Monster

This is a game about mowing lawns. There's also the occasional weed-wacking. You ain't driving fast cars, or fighting dragons, or building your fort knights. What you see on the title is what you get. If you go into this expecting anything else, you're going to be sorely disappointed.

But, if you're an actual boomer, or simply possess the dormant boomer gene, you'll likely find something of value here. If you have Game Pass, it's a no brainer to try this out. I would highly recommend waking up early on a Saturday morning to do so if you really want to get into the mood for some extreme grass-cutting. This can be a zen-like experience if you find yourself in the right state of mind.

Don't ask me about graphics or music or replay value or any of that nonsense. Just hop on your damn mower and get to work!

I would honestly consider this a near-perfect "turn your brain off and let a simple gameplay loop whisk you away" experience if it wasn't for the fact my save file evaporated for some unknown reason. I have no idea if this was the game, the Game Pass app, or whatever, but now I'm just going to wait until I nab it on Steam so I can own it and get more invested in it.

I mean...It is a lawn mower simulator. I feel like too much time is spent in the actual mowing levels (they can easily take 30 minutes sometimes). The business side is pretty well done though. This is probably a good game for the people looking for this specifically
