This game's great, this franchise is great, Luigi is great. Nuff' said.

Me cautivó.

As if Luigi wasn't already the best Mario brother, this game really showcased just how great he can be.

This being the first GameCube game I played I wanted to see if it held up 2 decades later and it did!
A unique and fun title starring Luigi which mixes comedy and humor into a weirdly well made spooky setting. The gameplay is fun, the music slaps, and its just short enough it doesn't outstay its welcome. Unfortunately the GameCube controller make some of boss battles awful, I'm not sure if it's my controllers or not but having to press the L button with just enough pressure where you actually spray water/fire/ice but not enough pressure where you instead shoot elemental balls was very annoying for the last few bosses.
Very Fun overall, highly recommend it as a must play Nintendo Title!

Luigi’s Mansion has always been close to my heart and started my love for the horror genre. beyond my own nostalgia, It's still such a fun and creative game that has so much of a unique spooky charm and personality all around, from the actual ghosts to Luigi humming the main theme while walking through the dark and dusty hallways of the mansion. Theres a feeling this game gives me that I cant describe but I know it’s a feeling that could have only been provided by a GameCube game. This is one of the main games that I think represents the GameCube the best.

Captured all Portrait Ghosts and Boos on the normal and Hidden Mansion modes. Did not go for the golden frames, as their requirement for completion criteria is dubious at best.

Cute and charming spooky game. Nice and short, doesn't overstay its welcome. Exploring the Mansion was really fun and I loved hunting for treasure. The controls were a bit frustrating at times but it's not that bad. Had a lot of fun with it.

Quality tech demo for the GameCube. It's not in my top-10 for the console, but it's absolutely an above average entrant into that library

baby's first horror game
also i luv luigi i know the year of luigi was kind of a flop but they should do it again

This game is responsible for a lot of the personality mario had in that 2000's era. I love the funk and I don't think any of the sequels really hit the way this one does.

NTSC players got robbed of PAL's Hidden Mansion...

I really enjoyed this game for the most part. I felt everything was great, until the final boss, which was just sorta meh. Conceptually brilliant, but I think it would have worked better in an actual Super Mario title. Really great game here, play it if you have not.

Siempre me trae mucha nostalgia el jugarlo.

Un muy buen juego e inicio para los Luigi mansiones.

Milagro que dura 4 horas porque si no me tiro por la ventana

Very solid Resident Evil game
For real though the vibes in this are immaculate

definitely a very unique game, starring luigi as the main character in a very spooky mansion. don't go in expecting your typical mario game cuz it's very different, instead think of it like a ghostbusters video game. your goal is to save mario who is trapped in this mansion, with admittedly some disturbing elements. would definitely recommend!

Luigi's Mansion is an interesting game. It's small in scope, and I do wonder if the development team for it was small as well. I get the vibe of a cozy band of programmers working away at their cheeky and unorthodox launch title deep within the Nintendo HQ.

In any case, the result is marvelous. They managed to capture the essence of what makes a haunted mansion setting so compelling; ghosts, yes, and supernatural pranks, but most compelling to me is the inclusion of not just "ghosts" as an entity, but ghosts as a haunting. Many of the spirits in this game are named characters. Most of them speak and give you a general sense of what they might've been like when they were actual people. For child me, it was a fascinating brush with the idea of death and undeath, and as far as a Nintendo game's themes can go I still find it very cool.

Tengo recuerdos viendo este juego en estantes toda mi infancia, cuando lo jugué fue mi primer acercamiento al terror y me di cuenta de que este juego me gustó mucho por todo lo que ofrece, un juego que no debió cambiar.

Enjoyable Gamecube game, with an interesting spin on Luigi's character, I like E Gad he's fun, although the collectible ghosts are a little bit annoying to get.

i love this game. it’s pretty short, builds great atmosphere and the ghost designs are great. it’s fairly easy, the controls can be a bit clunky especially during ghost catching. overall it’s a fun game that’s nice to look at

Luigis mansion is very good at what it sets out to do and is an older example of great atmosphere. The gameplay is a little basic but they spice it up with the boss battles and the puzzles which sometimes can be bs but rarely is it. The atmosphere is pristine it really sells the haunted mansion with the organs in the background and luigi humming really adds to the immersion and gets you sucked in the settings which can get pretty creative. Overall luigis mansion Is a good time I can see myself replaying from time to time

An at the time completely new direction for anything relating to Mario that holds up wonderfully in terms of its spooky yet goofy atmosphere that I don't feel the sequels ever managed to fully retain the simple, cozy charm of as they got larger in scope. Reeling in ghosts can definitely be a pain in the thumb at times and chasing Boos from one room to another can get tedious, but never to the point of making me want to stop playing.
