5/5

PS: Kainé eu te amo! KKKKKK

Endings C, D, and E. Possibly my favorite game of all time.

A good Nier game. I liked the new characters and the new story even if I still don't fully understand. The game was a bit short and did get repetitive and the map wasn't all that. But overall had a good time.

Kaine, can I get you a pair of pants?

This game has so many good ideas, but they are relatively poorly executed. I suppose most of this game's flaws would be avoided by doing a remake instead of a remaster, and especially if they did it with a bigger budget. In short, it's an interesting game if you're a big fan of any other Yoko Taro game, but if you have no idea who this asshole is, just play NieR: Automata before experiencing any other game made by him. And the 20 minute long VN sessions made me hate this game a little bit.
The game is carried by the best soundtrack that i've listened in my life, and by the great and misterious story. About the combat, well, it is good, but not as good as NieR Automata combat

comme un vide en moi là .

do yourself a favor and play this game. One of the best stories told in a game, with overwhelming emotion.

It pains me to give this game a 4,5 given on how much it has offered and affected me. There hasn't been a single game that has made me to drop my controller and let me sink in on what I had experienced by the end of it. This game is not a 5/5 because of just how slightly lacking the combat can be and how (even though I adore it) the story can be hard to piece together as you go along with how many terms and names the game throws at you without always doing the best job at properly explaining them.

ost superior al de su secuela

Yoko Taro is truly one of a kind. The story that is told not only in this game but Automata as well are the best of the best and I wish more people got to experience it.

Starts of slow and it is dark but it gets better. Great game and has great gameplay. I enjoyed it more than automata. Hard to see how it is connected at first. I had this on my backlog for a while. Glad i finally played it. Now I want to play automata again.

NieR Replicant is a remaster of the original version of NieR that came out only in Japan.
This game right off the bat, needs to be spoken about in nothing but highly praised terms.
What honestly starts off as a very slow, almost fetch quest game slowly turns into what I can only consider is a fantastic philosophical game on humanity itself.
This game gives you the player, so many gameplay mechanics and shows you one thing but ultimately, changes the way you think and has you questioning every single decision you made and are making at that very moment.
If you played Automata, the sequel to this game. There is 100% no reason for you not to play this. And if this is the first time you’re getting into the series, this is the perfect place to get yourself in deep for the work of Yoko Toro. The creative director who deserves every praise and love he can for helping to create such a beautiful and heartwarming set of games.
The only issues I have with the game entirely is how awful the RNG is in terms of trophies. It’s a nightmare and I’m thankful for the many podcasts I listen to that made it plausible.
But outside of the grind, this game is such a must play in my eyes.

This is a game I still feel like I need to replay.

I feel like I missed something.

the combat isn't anything extraordinary but everything else is perfect, this game made me cry alot and i love emil. work of art

What an experience this game was! I was super excited to play this after finishing NieR Automata and immediately bought it. Took a while to arrive but once I was able to immerse myself in this world again I was absolutely amazed.

My first steps in this game and I stood around an hour just listening to Devola sing Song of the Ancients. Then spent another 30 mins in the Northern Plains just looking at the beauty of this game.

I felt so many emotions playing through this game. The story was amazing although after playing through it so many times, it can get a bit too repititive considering you can't skip whatever you've already seen. it does give you an opportunity to get stronger and farm for some materials and upgrade your weapons though but it makes the pacing a bit... rough.

I much prefered NieR Replicant's gameplay for sure. Being able to target the enemies and the movement was just in general much better to me. I also much prefered the more "medieval" feel of Replicant and also got quite more attached to Nier as a character than Automata's characters even if I loved them a lot, no one compares to the sweet boy that is Nier! (without forgetting his absolutely peak design)

The game is a bit hard to navigate without help, that is one thing for sure, but that is just Yoko Taro games I guess.

I loved the story, the characters, the worldbuilding and obviously the music. It's crazy how you get attached to some side characters that aren't too important to the story, especially after playing through the second part at least 3 times. I think my favourite place was always Facade because I really enjoyed the King's character. But then again I enjoyed Seafront although it's hard to appreciate it after the boat part, but especially after knowing Nier's backstory. I also love how they introduce different things in the game, when I did my first ending, I was always not expecting whatever was going to happen, loved the "unpredictableness" of it. As for the music, I really enjoyed it, no matter how many times I heard it. my favourite one will always be Song of the Ancients, I love when Devola sings it or both her and Popola and it hits harder in the ending during that one fight. I was also quite a fan of Blu-bird and obviouisly Kainé and Emil's themes.

Definitely trying to go for the platinum since it seems doable.

ps: I want to marry Nier.
ps again: yonah is so pretty...

game takes a lot of patience to complete, but I think it has such an incredible story. it makes it worth playing the game 4-5 times in a row.

the gameplay is very fun, but simple, the soundtrack is really well done, its one of the prettiest soundtracks ive ever heard in a game. characters are all very loveable, atleast to me.

this game is very grind heavy, so its more of a commitment if you want to play a game like this. but the story for me, makes it worth it. this is one of my most favourite games ever.

Man this game is really good Finished ending A and having gotten the other endings yet but honestly i don't want this story to end

A cast that I can easily connect with and one of the most compelling overarching narratives making it one of the best experiences I’ve had with the medium
Might be even over automata for me ngl

I don’t even know where to begin with this game, Yoko Taro’s original masterpiece. The gameplay is definitely not as good as the story but it’s fine. But once you get to the end of the game, you will have felt every emotion and will be all the better for it

Probably the greatest game ever made. how is this allowed to exist.
