I'll admit this doesn't have the most redeeming qualities but there's something about its commitment to being a full anime adapted to a 3D adventure game, and its weird proto-Final Fantasy 13/13-3 battle system, that I can't help but be charmed by it.

the game is charmingly bad, if you enjoyed the original anime (the reboot stinks) i think you'll at least get some fun out of this. though i will say the combat system is unique in its own way... it's awful lol. most of it is. the voice acting is. the level design mediocre at best. but its charming. the game brims with charm. thank you for the memories orphen.

This game is trash but it's MY crash

This game sucks. I never liked Orphen to begin with, I think the whole series is bland, boring and way overdone at the time, I got the PS2 game with a huge collection of bad/unwanted PS1 and PS2 games. It's bad, the puzzles are bad, the mechanics are bad, the combat wants to be some kind of tactical fast-thinking puzzle but it isn't, at all. The whole game is an annoying unplayable mess and it made me hate Orphen even more.

It took me like 15 years after I got it to actually power though and beat it; because little me was having none of this trash. 2 stars because I need to justify beating it.

Ps2 launch title letdown coming right at ya.

Overall I enjoyed my first playthrough of the game, although not enough to go through with the other routes in the game, might come back to it one day to finish it though.

for the love of god do not play this game.. I played this game as a joke and it was not a good time. The game also forces you to play the exact same game like 3 times to get the final chapter.. these people knew what they were doing.. sick fucks.. why did I finish this crap.
