Este juego esta hecho para ese chaval que pasaba demasiado tiempo jugando al juego del vuelo en el Wii Sports Resort (yo), pero como ya me se la isla Wuhu de memoria ya no pega tanto

You could take this game super seriously, ace all the challenges, and feel like you beat the game. Or you can go "woooooosh" and have a nice relaxing time. I went with the latter.

look at how they massacred my boy :(

I know it was the Resort tone, but I wish they had varied it a bit. Have some more upbeat arcade style missions. The dusk and night missions did have some great vibes

This was an alright game, it captured my attention for a while, but slowly became really repetitive and lost me quite early on.
This was not helped by the fact that every single mission was on the same map and required you to do the same thing over and over again.

However, for the period that I was enjoying the game, it was very fun and I found some of the missions quite innovative in their own right.

People wish this was a flop but it spoke to all of us on an integral level

Island Flyover from Wii Sports Resort became it's own game. Flying around is fun, I just wish there was no time limit. The missions are pretty fun to do, and I like piloting 5 of the 6 devices in the game (I don't like using the glider). Not a game I return to often but still a good time.

i'm a simple guy, you give me a wuhu island sandbox with jetpacks, gliders and jet planes to roam around in with different challenges to complete as an 8 year old and im gonnna go crazy

this was the first game i ever played on my 3ds so im obviously fond of it and the soundtrack especially, i think this game really endeared me to miis in general. but also why is there a time limit on the free flight mode. why would you ever do this?

I used to use the jet pack and fly myself into rocks at high speeds

This is a decent game for people who really liked the Island Flyover mode in Wii Sports Resort (me), it's basically an expanded version of that made to show off the 3DS capabilities. I enjoyed it more than I expected especially in the harder final missions. For some reason there's still a time limit for the "free" flight around the island and it starts even shorter than it was in Resort. It's such a lame decision, it barely gives you any time to do anything and you can't mess around.

If this had been on the eShop at a much lower price point I would've loved it as a kid. As a full price cartridge game in 2011 it wasn't so appealing...

Just a chill time. The missions are a nice little challenge but the best bit for me was just soaring around the island on my seaplane in freeplay. Would love to see this game in a higher resolution setting as the 3DS does hold you back a bit too much but still fun.

Only real downside was the pedaled hang glider, which just isn't different enough from your usual hang glider and requires too much tapping input for not a lot of difference.

Another one of my childhood games, really fun challenges and the airplane was good too

was cool at first but got boring eventually

Nintendo please bring back Wuhu Island I'm practically begging at this point.

There's quite a bit of fun to be had with doing the missions, although they do get kind of repetitive towards the end.

they knew that people loved exploring wuhu island in sports resort, but didn't bring the same charm or feeling to pilotwings.
the only thing i remember about this game is playing it and thinking "i can't wait until animal crossing new leaf comes out"

You would think expanding one if not the most popular minigame in Wii Sport Resort and resurrecting a gone series would make a great game. But really Pilotwings Resort lacks the depth to justify it beeing an entire game. Sure the exploration was great and was fun but thats it. The challenges are okay but you complete them in like 30 to 40 minutes. Exploring wuhu island in 4hrs if you take your time. Really not worth it but for cheap maybe its a nice little game to play for like a bus ride.

calming and soothing. for the most part.

este juego lo hicieron en 15 minutos pero joder si pica sacarse 3 estrellas en cada nivel

also
>vuelo libre
>mira dentro
>tiempo límite de 2 minutos

Cool little puzzle game that tempts you to go completionist mode on it.
If you're into Woohoo Island, this may be the best way to experience it.

Goated for having Wuhu island back. simple gameplay but fun to sit and play for a while

Honestly, not a bad game. The Plane and Jetpack were pretty fun

I love Wuhu Island from Wii Sports Resort and being able to explore it in this game is very nice, for what it is, it's a good game. But I don't think it was the best choice as an 3DS launch title.

The Shrek the third of the pilotwings duology (it does not exist and I refuse to count it as a pilotwings game)
